Weekend appointments are limited and therefore are reserved for NEW permanent makeup appointments. If you wish to book after-hour appointments, please add this selection to your cart at an additional cost. Sorry, we love children but there are no children allowed. For sanitary purposes, and for reasons of keeping a nice, and calm environment with no distractions at our establishment. During both phases of the procedure, we’d kindly prefer to keep talking to a MINIMUM, as the movement of the mouth can cause a bit of instability during the already lengthy process. Please be courteous to others, and come prepared with accessible reference photos of the style of brow you like that most resemble your natural shape and brow hair texture - Even photos of how you like to wear your makeup are acceptable. You may want to prepare by deliberating different shapes, styles, and lengths ie: round, straight, arched, thick, thin, etc.. Knowing what you want, and or do not want ahead of time will save a lot of your appointment time. Your session is long enough, and we are scheduled for only a certain amount of time per client. If we find that you are too indecisive, we would prefer to wait until we know that you are 100% sure to proceed. We reserve the right to refuse service to any client for any given reason. Ombre Powder Brows last 1-2 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well aftercare instructions are followed.
Cosmetic tattooing is a two part process. You will need a touch up 6-8 weeks after your initial session, and yearly touch ups afterwards to maintain the look. Much like tattoos, the ink fades gradually. This occurs from natural causes such as sun exposure, lifestyle, retention, skin routine, etc.
The procedure can take anywhere fro 3-4 hours depending. I strongly advised that you allow a solid 4 hour window for the. procedure. This is not a process you want to rush.
It is common to go 1.5 -2 years between touch ups after your initial session and 6-8 week touch up. In order to preserve the integrity of the skin, it is highly recommended- no more than one touch up per year to a year and a half. Doing touch ups more than necessary can result in scar tissue, and over saturation of color. It is in your best interest to allow your brows to fade 40-50% before requesting a yearly touch up. If you are unsure about the fade of your brows, please email pictures to [email protected] for assistance. Please note: the use of a little brow powder or pencil to fill certain areas is totally normal!
While cosmetic tattooing is great replacement for everyday penciling or using powder to fill the brows, it is completely normal to use a little brow pencil or powder to enhance color. For instance; when applying full face makeup, you will more than likely transfer foundation to your brow which can cause them to look dull. In this case, I advise clients to use a makeup wipe to remove excess foundation from the brows and/or fill in with some brow powder/ pencil. Another example would be when your brows are at the stage where they're starting to fade, but you're not quite ready for a touch up.
Brow Lamination is a chemical relaxer for brows, it reshapes and straightens brow hairs, setting the in place for a polished look.

Bridal makeup should be booked in advance to secure your date and ensure a relaxed, stress-free wedding experience.

Here at Brows & Beats By Lady Shan T eyebrow tattooing is a three step process All appointments begin with a thorough consultation where we will fill out a consent form, discuss aftercare, what to expect, and your brow goal. Then we will proceed to take photos, and conduct your facial analysis. This process is crucial to the process as this is where we will evaluate, and come to find your ideal shape based on your facial features, shape, and bone structure. While inspiration photos are a great tool for direction, your anatomy will ultimately guide us to finding your ideal brow shape. Together, we will come to a decision on what your ideal shape would be. Once we have come to an agreement on a shape, we will then move to eyebrow mapping stage. Based off your facial analysis, In this phase, we will conduct what is called your pre-draw, or “eyebrow mapping.” This will give you a sense of what your brows could potentially look like. Note: This process can take up to an hour, or more. The goal is always to try to create brows that are as symmetrical as your facial structure will allow, but it is important to keep in mind that on very rare occasions will you find a person who has a perfectly balanced face. That being said, we like to encourage our customers to come into their sessions with realistic expectations. Once we agree on your ideal shape, we will begin the process of getting you to the brows you’ve always dreamed of! We will begin the process by outlining your shape, and applying a topical anesthetic to ease the mild discomfort you may or may not experience. Assuring that you are calm and comfortable during your session is apart of my job. Once I've completed the procedure, after photos. will be taken. I will re-review your aftercare instructions, and what to expect once more in order for you to achieve the best results possible. After that, it is your responsibility to do your due diligence to ensure you protect your investment.
